The Path to Your Soul Mate

Road Map to Your Soul Mate–Chapter 4

“I want to make some major changes in my relational life but I don’t know how or where to start!”

You start by categorizing areas of change in your life such as: 1. Things I Need in my life  2. Things I need to delete from my life  3. New Activities  4. Evaluating the friends you have  5. Add new friends  6. Forgiveness–for yourself and others.  7. A new Attitude.

(LB) Habakkuk 2:2, “And the Lord said to me, ‘Write my answer on a billboard, large and clear, so that anyone can read it at a glance and rush to tell others.” God has a clear path to your soul mate.

You have to say to yourself, “I want to be the absolute best I can be for my soul mate and I want my soul mate to be the absolute best they can be for me!”   You’ll need to have thick skin, be able to accept criticism and decide, from your own perspective, what is best for you.  We’re starting our journey to our soul mate…

First Stop, The Desert

The word “desert” comes from the Hebrew word “dahbaar,” which means “to speak.” The desert is where God has spoken to Abraham, Elijah, Moses and Jesus. It is a place of solitude and dependence on Him.  It is where He will speak to you, lighten your load and begin telling you the path to your soul mate.

It is a place to bury your past, your relational failures, your grudges, your anger, your hurt and the wall you have built around your heart. You can’t have a soul mate if they cannot see your heart.

You don’t have to actually go to a desert, you go to a virtual desert by backing off of the dating scene and spending time deleting negative things and adding positive things to your life. The by product is trust, joy, learning to love again and having a hopeful, bright attitude. And, you have to make time to do this…

The book, Finding Your Soul Mate, God’s Way, has a Soul Mate Vision Chart in Chapter 3 that will act as a roadmap to your soul mate. It’s just for you and nobody else. God said, “Come to Me, I will turn your Valley of Troubles into a Doorway of Hope!” Are you ready to begin your journey?
