Soul Mates: Real Men? Real Women?

Soul Mates: Real Men?

In  John Eldredge’s  book, Wild at Heart, Discovering the Secrets of a Man’s Soul, he mentioned that society and churches are trying to turn men into women. He went on to say that God created men as warriors with a warrior spirit. Men were meant to be conquerors. This did not sit well with many congregations and many church libraries banned his book.  The path to your soul mate, who you want to romance you, who you want to date and the relationships you choose can only be determined after you know who you are.

But, is it the truth? Are men supposed to be more in touch with their feelings as women are? Is society trying to turn men into women?  Would men lose their warrior spirit? Interesting question! Let’s figure this out together. Men’s # 1 trait is Strength, and there are seven types of strength.

We’ll take a consensus and I’ll write it up on next week’s blog. What is your definition of a REAL MAN?  Send your answers to  This should really be interesting.

Is Your Soul Mate a Real Woman?

In John & Stasi Eldredge’s book, Captivating, Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman’s Soul, they say that there is a simple truth about women: They dominate and control because they fear their vulnerability, not to say that a woman cannot be strong but that sometimes women forfeit their femininity in order to feel safe and in control. And that controlling women tend to be well rewarded in this fallen world of ours.

On the other side of the coin, you find women who are desolate, needy and far too vulnerable.  Women’s # 1 trait is Beauty, and there are six different types of beauty.

Let’s take another census on Women. What is your definition of a Real Woman? Again, send your responses to . We’ll include these answers in next week’s blog. I can hardly wait!

2 Corinthians 6:14B-”For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?” Love, romance, dating relationships and soul mates come from your decisions!
